History

Christ Church Schools have a rich heritage and have been serving the society in the sphere of education for 149 years in Jabalpur, in the State of Madhya Pradesh.

It is with great pride and utmost joy we announce that our visionary Moderator, Bishop and Chairman, The Most Reverend Dr. Prem Chand Singh had the divine desire to extend the reach of our schools beyond the boundaries of the city of Jabalpur. It was his benevolent dream to provide a high quality of education to children in the rural backdrop as was being provided to their counterparts in the city.

His hopes and dreams were backed with prayerful endeavors and once again all his sincere efforts and noble intentions were rewarded by the grace of our Lord Jesus transforming his vision into reality when in the month of November 2015, a patch of land measuring 2.25 acres was purchased at Saliwada, Jabalpur.

This is a historical landmark in the Diocese of Jabalpur that the land was purchased and registered in the name of the newly formed property trust of the Diocese, The Jabalpur Diocesan Trust Association, an example to be followed by the other dioceses of the Church of North India.

The Ground Breaking Ceremony and the traditional laying of the Foundation Stone for the new school were performed on 12th December 2015, by the Founder, The Most Rev. Dr. P.C. Singh and Mrs. Nora Singh, Director Vikas Asha Kendra. The school began to function from the 3rd of July 2017 with 30 students.

The school is now run and governed by the Board of Education, Church of North India, Jabalpur Diocese, with the Most Rev. Dr. P.C. Singh as its Chairman.
